All of our brands are covered by an Australian warranty, so if you have any manufacturing faults, defects or issue, we have you covered.
We don't believe in fine print or hidden or hard to find clauses. But there are a few important things for you to know, so please read below for our full warranty policy and procedures.
Our goods come with guarantees that can't be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure doesn't amount to a major failure
Each of our brands have different warranty periods. Please check the product page in the description/sepcifications tab for individual product warranty information.
Warranties cover any manufacturer defects or faults for the life of the warranty.
They do not cover accidental breakage, damage caused by improper use, tampering or DIY repairs and or modifications made post purchase.
Warranty Procedure
Before returning your item, we will first troubleshoot with you to see if the issue can be resolved over the phone/email/Facetime/live video, whichever we feel appropriate for your product or circumstance.
In most cases, issues can quickly be resolved over a troubleshooting consultation, which typically only takes a few minutes. If the issue is not resolved successfully via a troubleshooting consultation, we'll have your item collected by a courier and sent to our supplier for inspection, at no cost to you.
If a manufacturers fault or defect is determined to be the cause of the issue or fault, we will reimburse any postage cost incurred by you to have it sent for inspection as well as either replace or repair your item or in some cases issue a refund.
*Please note: It is important that before returning your item, Healthy Habitats and you, the consumer, troubleshoot potential issues with one our support team in order to rule out possible user error. If an item is returned under a warranty claim and the fault is deemed to be caused by user error and the item is deemed operational and in perfect working order, then we will assist you in having the item returned back to you. In these cases, Healthy Habitats will not be liable for any return shipping and handling costs to have the item returned to you.
