Each model in the range are packed with features that not only make your air super clean but make them really easy to use.

• Multiple stage filtration. Each models comes with a H13 Hospital Grade HEPA Filter for complete air purification. This is the highest grade of HEPA filter found in domestic air purifiers. It not only traps dust, mould pollen, etc but also viruses, bacteria and other microorganisms.

• Smart air sensor. These sensors continuously monitor your air for pollution and reactively adapt as your air quality changes.

• Smart air quality display. A three coloured LED display lets you see the quality of your air with just a quick glance. The LED lights will change colour depending on how clean or polluted your air is.

• Blue means your air is clean, Amber means it is ok but needs some attention and Red means there is a lot of pollution in your air.

• Auto mode. It's one thing being able to see the quality of your air but it is another thing having to adjust your settings every time there is a change in air quality. This is where the auto mode comes in very handy.

• Simply set your machine on auto and let your Winix take control for you. Every time the sensors notice a change in your air the unit will automatically adjust it's settings to adapt and clean your air quickly and efficiently.

• Sleep mode. All models come with this very helpful feature. When you select sleep mode, the unit turns off the lights and LED display and on runs on a low setting to ensure you have a quiet and restful nights sleep.

• This is especially helpful for people who find it difficult to sleep with any light or noise in their room. It also allows you to adjust fan speeds without turning any lights back on.

• LED control panel with a filter life indicator. An easy to read display and soft touch controls makes using your Winix super easy. The handy built in filter replacement indicator will tell you when it's time to change your filters. Average filter life of Winix machines is 12 months when running 24/7 with normal use.

What is their filtration system?

Winix air purifiers have a 4 to 5 stage filtration system to clean the air in your home or business.

• The first stage is a washable/vacuumable pre filter that captures larger particles like pet hair, dust and other large airborne particles. This filter doesn't need replacing but does need to be cleaned every few weeks when the unit has been running continuously. The pre filter not only traps larger particles but also extends the life of the other filters inside the machine and makes the unit more efficient.

• The second stage is the activated carbon filter. Not all brands use "activated" carbon in their filter. Activated carbon not only removes odours such as pet or cooking smells but it also neutralises a much wider range of potentially harmful contaminants.

• These include: Smoke, VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) including formaldehyde, ammonia and other harmful chemical gases, vapours and fumes. This makes them ideal for people who suffer from chemical sensitives.

• The third stage is the Hospital Grade H13 Hepa Filter, which captures 99.97% of airborne particles down to 0.3 microns or smaller. Many brands on the market use lesser quality HEPA filters such as H12, H11. Some brands even use "HEPA Like" filters which are greatly inferior to a True H13 HEPA Filter. 

• The fourth stage is Plasmawave Technology. This instantly neutralises bacteria, microorganisms, mould, dust mites, odours, VOCs (chemical vapours and harmful gases) and viruses including Influenza, Cat Calicivirus, Dog Coronavirus, H5N1 Influenza A Subtype, Avian Influenza (H7N9), Zika virus.

• The Pro 5 model also comes with a 5th stage of filtration. A fine mesh filter that is designed to trap all pet hair and dander at an even higher rate.

Their replaceable filters will last up to 12 months when used 24/7, every day and longer if used less and are very affordable to replace.
