Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

While we fully stand by every product that we sell, we understand that sometimes a product may not perform to your satisfaction. 

That's why we offer an up to 30 Day Return Policy

We want to make this as simple of a process as possible for you.

If your item isn't performing as advertised or to your satisfaction, then we are 100% here for you.

If you would like to return or exchange an item, please email us at and we will happily exchange it for an another product or refund you, minus any shipping and handling costs.

In order to receive a refund or exchange there are a few things that are important to know.

All items must arrive back to our distribution center in a "Like New" condition and must contain all original and undamaged packaging, accessories and show no visual signs of use or ware. "Like New" means that the product and packaging are in perfect condition and suitable for resale. 

Unfortunately we cannot accept return items without all of the original or damaged packaging or if they show visual signs of use or wear, or have any issues due to misuse. 

Once your return items have been received and inspected at our warehouse, we will send you an email notification that we have processed your refund. All refunds will be processed back to the original credit card or payment method use at the time of order.

If the product you would like to return or exchange contains filters and they have been unsealed or used, the cost price for the filters will be deducted from your refund amount.

Depending on the brand, the return period is between 7-30 days from date of purchase. Please check the product page or product specifications tab for your product's return policy period.

To be eligible for a return the item must be faulty, not working as advertised or not performing to your expectations. 

We generally do not accept returns or issue refunds if you have simply changed your mind, have somehow found it cheaper elsewhere or no longer want the item, so please choose your product(s) carefully.

Please note, change of mind returns, you as the customer will be responsible for paying the return shipping costs of the item(s)

Exchanging Items

We are always happy to assist you if you would like to exchange a product, so long as it is within the brands return/exchange time period.

If the new item you choose is of lesser value then we will issue you a refund of the difference. If the new item is more expensive, we will send you a digital invoice where you can easily pay the balance.

Exchanges will be processed once we have received the original item and our team have inspected it. 

Damages On Delivery

We always take the utmost care with all of our deliveries and do everything we can to ensure they arrive in pristine condition.  

But just incase, when your order arrives, please inspect the packaging. If you notice that the product or packaging is damaged, please make note of it when signing for the delivery.

If your item(s) arrive damaged, please send photos to within 24 hours and we will arrange for replacement(s) to be sent to you.

Healthy Habitats will pay shipping costs for any defective, damaged, or incorrect merchandise that is delivered to you.

Remember to keep all the original packaging for any items that need to be returned. All returns need to be authorised by our customer service department prior to being processed. 

We will ensure you get the product you ordered, undamaged, as soon as possible. Items that become damaged after use are non-refundable unless specified under warranty.


If you would like to cancel an order, please email or call our customer service team immediately to avoid return shipping fees.

Cancellations received before shipment will receive a full refund less any payment processing fees.

Orders canceled after items have been dispatched will follow our 30 Day Return policy.

As delivery times are out of our control, we do not accept cancellations for delivery delays.

Other Return Policy Notes:

  • If a certain vendor or product does not support the return policy stated above, this will be noted in the product descriptions/specifications or in the product-specific return information.
  • Products that are specified as certified pre-owned or used are ineligible for a return
  • Healthy Habitats only sells to purchasers who intend to use the item(s) for the duration of its economic life. Orders purchased for the specific purpose of a "one time use or temporary use" are not eligible for return under any circumstances. This includes but is not limited to; orders intended for use in a trade show or a conference venue, orders that are purchased by promotional companies, and orders that are purchased by trade show facilitators.
  • Shipping and Handling costs and any payment processing fees incurred by Healthy Habitats will be deducted from the refund amount for "change of mind returns".
  • Any filters that have been unsealed and or used will be deducted from the refund amount for change of mind returns as these can not be re-used or re-sold.
