The Coway 1018F Classic Air Purifier use a 4 stage filtration process. These filters are:

• Pre-Filter - Traps large airborne particle like pet hair, dander and dust
  
• Fine Particle Filter - Traps fine dust particles, pollen and smaller particles
• Activated Charcaoal Filter - This neutralises odours, vapours and fumes
• HEPA Filter - Traps micro particles and organisms down to 0.3 microns. These include, mould, viruses and bacteria
